Graduate Certificate in Language Program Administration

The Language Program Administration certificate is designed to prepare future and current language program leaders to design, build, develop, and administer quality second and foreign language programs. The courses in the program introduce students to language program administration, program standards and evaluation, and include an optional internship.

Degree Requirements

A minimum of 12 units chosen from the following courses are required to earn the certificate:

  • PAH 570  Leadership for Program Administration: Institutional Contexts
  • PAH 571  Language Program Administration
  • PAH 572  Language Program Evaluation: Policies, Standards and Practice
  • PAH 574  Conceptualizing, Designing, and Directing Foreign Language Programs
  • PAH 593  Internship (1-3 units)
