Arta Kurti interned with Reganne Layne LLC and gained experience in marketing strategy, brand development, client communication, and business operations across multiple projects and organizations.
How did you get your internship?
My internship opportunity came about through a professional network that developed gradually. Before landing this internship, I had gone through an interview process with one of Reganne Layne’s business partners. Although I was not hired during that initial cycle, I left a lasting impression on their minds. It was in January 2026 when we met again, and he recommended that I apply for an internship position at Reganne Layne LLC. This experience showed me the importance of professional connections and networking, as the connection resulted in an important opportunity despite the passing of time.
Why did you choose this internship?
The reason for choosing this internship is that I wanted to get more practical knowledge about marketing and branding strategies. In addition to this, I was keen on gaining knowledge related to smaller business organizations and consultancy firms because it requires being flexible and working on different aspects at one time. This intern program also offered me the opportunity to work on various projects rather than working on just one thing.
What kind of work did you do throughout your internship experience?
In my internship experience, I worked on marketing strategy, branding projects, content creation, research, organization, and communication for various clients and projects. I have participated in projects where content for websites, messaging for branding, social media strategies, and concepts for business development were needed. I was also able to help in organizing, improving communication methods, and participating in ongoing projects that needed both creativity and organization skills. Since the pace was hectic, I learned how to manage many aspects at once.
What skills did you develop in this internship?
The internship allowed me to develop my communication, flexibility, project management, and strategic thinking skills. In addition, I have understood how branding and messaging play an important role in the presentation and communications of the organization. I have also gotten better at handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and accommodating changes in priorities. This internship has allowed me to gain confidence in professional communication.
What was your favorite or most satisfying part of your internship?
The best part of the internship for me was being able to experience what could happen when an idea could turn into strategy and action. I appreciated being tasked with projects where I had to use my creativity but also had to be professional about it. This was important since I was entrusted to suggest ideas, engage in the planning process, and assist projects that bore fruit.
What did you find challenging about your internship?
One of the hardest things that I had to do during my internship was juggling a lot of different things with changing and competing priorities. Since my duties involved working with various clients, I quickly became organized and flexible. The hectic environment showed me the importance of good communication and time management skills.
How has your internship experience influenced your plans for your future?
The internship reinforced my enthusiasm for marketing, branding, communications, and strategy-based job opportunities. This helped me realize that I would love to work in an environment where there is a blend of both creative and business processes. I have been able to learn the kind of working environment I would love to be in after finishing school. My plan in the future is to specialize in marketing and public relations.
