The law deals with systems of enforcement and order. Without my humanities education, I would not have been able to fully engage with the study of law and understand how it affects people. My humanities education provided me with opportunities to understand how humans interact and how legal systems affect those interactions. I was also granted opportunities to learn empathy, critical thinking skills, communication skills, and deep textual analysis from my PAH major. I believe that all of these skills are necessary for the study of law.

The humanities are a crucial prerequisite to understanding complex legal topics and I am thankful to my PAH major for preparing me well for law school.
