Dorothée Harmon has spent her whole career working as a development professional in public and community services. In her current role she oversees the Development Division at Pima County Grants Management and Innovation, which supports County departments in identifying, pursuing and implementing grants. Previously she oversaw grants and program development at Pima County Community Services Department. From 2007-10 she served as the project lead for Innovation Frontier Arizona, a multi county initiative to align workforce development, education, and economic development assets around a unified economic vision. She has worked on a variety of programs and initiatives, including the Youth Opportunity Grant, the southern Arizona Veteran’s Workforce Investment Program, and formula workforce system funding from the US Department of Labor. Prior to coming to Pima County, Dorothée worked for the Tucson Urban League for four years with the organization’s microenterprise and neighborhood development programs. Dorothee lives in Barrio Hollywood with Sisol, her wife of 14 years, and loves to go on camping trips with their four dogs: Henry, Hugo, Hawk and Javi.
