How did you get your current job, and what kind of work do you do in your role?
I’ve had the opportunity to work for architectural firms in Arizona and in West Africa, while being offered independent work offers thanks to my networking experience. I then came to find out that I enjoyed working as an independent contractor and most importantly was confident in my experience and my skills to carry me through. 

What advice would you give to Applied Humanities students as they approach graduation?
I can’t stress this enough: focus on growing your network and building your interpersonal skills. With everything going on in the world right now, the village we build around us today will be the tool for our success or survival tomorrow.
